Juniors: If you need to take the ACT test, you might think about taking it sometime in the spring of your junior year. You can retake it as often as you want after that.
Seniors: You should attempt to get your highest score possible by the December ACT Test. However, since Covid, many colleges have relaxed this guideline. Check with your college or university to see when the latest test they will accept a score from is.
ACT Prep: Students are able to take this class during their junior year. ACT Prep focuses on testing strategies to use during the actual test.
Sending your ACT scores: When you register for the ACT test, you are able to send your scores to some colleges for free. You should send these scores to any college you are thinking about attending. This way you don't have to log in and send them later.
Your best combo of ACT scores will be on your high school transcript.
ACT FEE WAIVER: If you qualify for Free/Reduced lunches you can receive up to 4 ACT fee waivers so that you may take the test for free. If you think you should qualify for this, make sure your parents have completed the online free/reduced lunch form and come see Mrs. Palmer.
