A math credit can be waived for successfully completing 3 credits of Carpentry, HVAC, Welding, Auto Mechanics, Auto Collision, and Computer Installer & Repair.
A science credit can be waived for successfully completing 3 credits of Health Service Aide. The same is true for taking 3 Agriculture classes at Hartville.
In addition, the senior (2nd) year of Votech can be substituted for a fourth English credit.
A credit waiver form (in Mrs. Palmer's office) must be signed by student and parent. This is at the bottom:
I understand by accepting this waiver it is essential I successfully complete the program and set myself up to graduate.
I also understand in accepting this waiver, it will not count towards meeting a university level requirement for admittance into the university or for playing NCAA (i.e. a minimum of 3 credits of Math and Science are required).
Students should not waive or substitute credits if they plan to attend/play sports at a college/university with strict requirements.
